- apply what you learn to languages including Python and Java.
- participate in hands-on activities resulting in a fully functional program.
- receive a thumb drive for saving your program, taking it home, and continuing to build it as you wish.
- gain hands-on experience in information technology (IT).
- learn the basics of computer and networking hardware.
- become familiar with computer support, operating systems, networking and cybersecurity.
- explore cybersecurity tools including Netstat, Ping, Traceroute, Nmap, Wireshark and more.
All high school students - from incoming freshmen to 2025 graduates - are welcome. We especially encourage young women and minority students to join us in support of our efforts to increase diversity among employees in this field.
