Medical Assistants are instrumental to the overall health and wellbeing of patients in the clinical setting. Guiding students in becoming such a vital component in healthcare is one of the most rewarding parts of being an instructor.   

Experience

Erin has been working in various capacities of the healthcare field for almost 20 years. She started as a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) and worked her way up to RN (Registered Nurse), working in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Erin has had helped many students achieve success in the healthcare programs here at Lakeshore. Prior to her full-time Instructor role, she held  concurrent positions as Instructional Assistant, Clinical Skills Lab Specialist, and Adjunct Instructor. Erin holds bachelor's degrees in Nursing and Psychology.
