Experience

As a Registered Nurse (RN), Katie brings 14 years of labor and delivery nursing experience to her teaching. She has been a Charge Nurse, Mock Code Leader, Hearing Screen Coordinator, Unit Based Practice Council chair, EPIC superuser, and preceptor for students/nurses. She is also certified through the Neonatal Resuscitation Program and holds an Advanced Fetal Monitoring certificate. Katie has a bachelor's degree in Nursing and is pursuing her master's in Nursing through Concordia University.
