Pete Rathsack

I teach because I like to see a student succeed, be proud of themselves, advance in their career or start a new career, and to shape them into the person they want to be.

Working in a ductile and grey iron foundry for 10 years is what led Pete to becoming a Maintenance Machinist and starting his apprenticeship. He then went on to CNC Machinist to finish his apprenticeship. Later he started computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) programming, which he did for nine years. Pete completed his Journeyman Machinist apprenticeship through Lakeshore and is certified through the National Coalition of Certification Centers (NC3).
