SACA Certifications
SACA certifications are developed for industry, by industry. They are created through a rigorous process, beginning with the creation of truly international skill standards endorsed by leading experts in Industry 4.0 technologies throughout the world.
The Smart Automation Certification Alliance (SACA) has developed Industry 4.0 certifications that allow individuals to demonstrate “connected systems,” skills that address the integrations of machining, maintenance, IT, and Industry 4.0 technologies.
Lakeshore’s team is certified to offer Silver Certifications and the following Gold Certifications:
- C-101 Certified Industry 4.0 Associate - Basic Operations
- C-102 Certified Industry 4.0 Associate - Advanced Operations
- C-103 Certified Industry 4.0 Associate - Robot System Operations
- C-104 Certified Industry 4.0 Associate - IIoT, Networking and Data Analytics
- C-201 Electrical Systems 1
- C-202 Electric Motor Control Systems 1
- C-203 Variable Frequency Drive Systems 1
- C-204 Motor Control Troubleshooting 1
- C-205 Sensor Logic Systems 1

Lakeshore provides instruction to prepare for four SACA certifications, each leading to SACA’s Silver Certification. When all four courses are completed, students will also be awarded a Foundations of Industry 4.0 certificate from Lakeshore College.
When Silver Certifications are completed, individuals can take four additional courses to receive SACA’s Gold Certification. When those four courses are completed, students will also be awarded the Industry 4.0 Applications certificate from Lakeshore College.
Important Notes
All these course options are available in the competency-based education (CBE) format.
hey can also be applied toward Lakeshore’s Manufacturing Engineering Technology associate degree.
