Spring Graduation Set for May 20 at Lakeshore Technical College

CLEVELAND, WI —

More than 700 credentials will be awarded during graduation on May 20 to students who have completed their educational paths at Lakeshore Technical College. 

Credentials to be awarded include: 563 associate degrees, technical diplomas, and certificates; 99 Youth Apprenticeships; 44 Registered Apprenticeships; and 34 General Education Development (GED) certificates and High School Equivalency Diplomas (HSED). 

“We are confident local employers will be impressed with our graduates’ ability to satisfy their needs for highly skilled, knowledgeable employees,” said Lakeshore President Dr. Paul Carlsen. “And for our graduates who will continue on their journey to a bachelor’s degree, we assure them they are prepared for success and wish them all the best.”

Graduation is open to the general public. Each college division has a designated timeframe to be in Centennial Hall, located in the Lakeshore building, though students may attend when it works best for them. 

  • General Education Development (GED) certificates & High School Equivalency Diplomas (HSED): 9-9:30 a.m.
  • Registered Apprenticeship & Youth Apprenticeship: 9:30-10 a.m.
  • Business, Technology, and Hospitality: 10:15-11:15 a.m.
  • Advanced Manufacturing, Agriculture, Automotive, Energy, and Public Safety: 11:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m.
  • Health & Human Services and Childcare: 12:30-1:30 p.m.

College representatives will be celebrating with students throughout the day. All buildings on Lakeshore’s Cleveland campus will be open 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
