Jim Ervin, Quality Assurance/Supply Chain Instructor
Dr Jim Ervin has over 35 years of experience working in large and small companies as plant manager, union president, and general manager He’s currently a full-time instructor at LTC, teaching a variety of courses including Teamwork, Management, Logistics, and Supply Chain He earned his doctoral degree from Northcentral University, his bachelor’s degree from Purdue University, and his associate degree from Prairie State College

Wendy Franklin, Adjunct Instructor
Wendy Franklin has more than 25 years of domestic and international experience in organizational development, human resources and executive-level leadership development working with industry leaders like Kimberly Clark, Kohler Company and RR Donnelly Additionally, she owned and operated her own printing and graphic arts business for 11 years in the Green Bay area Within the Wisconsin Technical College System, Wendy assists clients with navigating organizational issues, analyzing dynamic conditions, assessing gaps, and providing solid human capital solutions She is well versed in LEAN and high-performance cultures and has a strong record as a natural Servant Leader Wendy holds a BA in Business Administration & Organization Development from UW Green Bay and an MBA in Organizational Management/Emphasis in Human Resources from the University of Phoenix  

Jim Gruenke, Electromechanical Program Coordinator/Instructor
Jim Gruenke has over 25 years of industry experience as an Engineer and Engineering Manager When Jim was ready for a change in position, he decided to share his expertise in the industry by becoming an instructor He's enjoyed developing classes such as Electrical Troubleshooting, Robotic Programming, and has now been in this role for over 11 years Jim prides himself on being able to deliver the real working knowledge that is needed and an example of that is when he published his own technical training, “Programming Fanuc Robots for Industrial Applications” ISBN: 978-0-8269-3412-3, through the ATP (American Technical Publishers) website It’s Jim’s eye for the skills gap that motivated him to not only publish formal training but continue to work with several industry partners in developing courses that work to bridge them Jim was a pivotal part of the development of the Mechatronics Apprenticeship program as he served on the development committee

John Hanson, Public Safety Instructor
John Hanson has more than 18 years of experience in technical and management applications of workplace safety and emergency management He teaches courses in occupational safety and health, 10/30 hour general industry certification, industrial and first responder emergency management, and hazardous waste site worker certification John is a certified hazardous materials technician, and is a state-certified professional emergency manager He holds a bachelor’s degree in disaster and emergency management

Terry Koenig, Manufacturing Management Instructor
Terry Koenig is a Six Sigma Black Belt with over 15 years' experience in manufacturing and service organizations He holds degrees in Manufacturing Management and Business Management and is a Certified Quality Technician and Certified ISO9001:2015 Lead Auditor Terry teaches Quality Assurance and Manufacturing Management at LTC

Ken Rost,  Public Safety Instructor
Ken Rost has more than 25 years’ experience in hazardous materials response, health, safety, and disaster management having served as a hazardous materials technician and commander of a regional hazardous materials team, health and safety manager for an environmental response company, and local emergency manager and business continuity provider to global organizations. Incident experience includes major wildfires, aircraft disasters, major hurricanes, and large chemical emergencies. Select certifications include that of an Associate Business Continuity Professional, hazardous materials technician, safety officer, and incident commander, and Unmanned Aerial Systems Remote Pilot in Command. Ken is committed to making education an experience like no other, reflecting the passion that he brings to, and for the subject matter.

Kelly Ryba, Mechanical Design Instructor
Kelly Ryba is an LTC instructor that brings with her over 7 years of industry experience, 17 years of customized training, and 20 years of teaching experience Kelly is also the lead instructor in our additive manufacturing initiatives including a full operational Fab Lab that incorporates 3D printing and scanning, lazer cutting and engraver as well as machining and fabrication processes Her areas of expertise include Machine and Product Design, GD&T Basics and Advanced Principles, Tolerance Stack Up and Analysis, and she is WTCS certified in Math, Physics, and Mechanical Design We are super proud to have Kelly as her education started with an Associates from Lakeshore Technical College in Mechanical Design but has since went on to complete her Bachelors of Science of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Milwaukee School of Engineering and her Master's in Business Administration from Cardinal Stritch, both located in Milwaukee, WI

David Saunders, Welding Program Instructor
David has more than 24 years of experience in welding and fabrication As an instructor in the LTC welding program, he teaches all classes offered in the welding program, including GMAW, SMAW, GTAW, welder's math, blueprint reading, and metallurgy He also leads seminars and individualized courses customized for area industries David holds certification through the American Welding Society as a welding educator and a welder

Brian is an instructor in the LTC welding program with more than 15 years of experience in welding and fabrication He teaches all classes offered in the welding program, and leads seminars and individualized courses customized for area industry Brian holds certification through the American Welding Society as a welding inspector, welding educator, and welder

Wade Wittmus, Electro-Mechanical Instructor
Wade Wittmus has 15+ years teaching automation courses  Wade specializes in PLC programming, specifically from Allen-Bradley, but does some basic programming with Siemens PLCs  He teaches the SLC architecture along with the ControlLogix models  He also teaches Touchscreens, Industrial Networks and Servo motion from Allen-Bradley  Wade holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and has an MBA
